Questions

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers on siding, windows, doors, materials, and permits across the Treasure Valley.

What exterior work do you do?

We focus on three things and do them well: siding installation and replacement, energy-efficient replacement windows, and exterior doors — entry, patio, and storm. That focus is the whole point of the division.

What siding materials do you install?

Fiber cement (the James Hardie style of lap and panel siding), engineered wood, and vinyl siding — along with the trim, fascia, soffit, moisture barrier, and flashing that make any siding job last.

Do new windows really lower energy bills?

Older single-pane and worn-out windows leak air and heat. Modern double- or triple-pane replacement windows with proper air sealing cut drafts and ease the load on heating and cooling — a real difference through Treasure Valley summers and winters.

Do you handle permits?

When a siding, window, or door project requires a permit, we coordinate it with your city or county before work begins. Many like-for-like replacements don't need one, and we'll tell you straight which applies to your job.

Do you clean up after the work?

Always. Every job ends with a full clean-up — we haul away the old siding, windows, doors, and packaging and leave your home tidy, weather-sealed, and looking sharp.

What areas do you serve?

The Treasure Valley — Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, Caldwell, Kuna, Star, Garden City, and the surrounding towns out to Middleton, Mountain Home, Emmett, Fruitland, Payette, Homedale, Parma, and New Plymouth.

Is an estimate really free?

Yes. We come look at your home, talk through the options, and give you a straight, written price with no pressure and no obligation.
